Tyler Naquin Dealing With Toe Injury
4 years agoCleveland Indians outfielder Tyler Naquin will be sidelined on a day-to-day basis due to a hairline fracture in one of his toes. The team has recalled outfielder Daniel Johnson to fill in for the time being. Naquin figures to factor primarily against right-handed pitching, although he will be competing for playing time for the vast majority of the year. Naquin has battled injuries over the past three seasons, although he still managed to produce a respectable .792 OPS last year across 89 games. He will be primarily a low-priced DFS option upon his return, which will be at least a few days away.
