4 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Tyler Naquin went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in a 9-2 loss to the Cleveland Indians on Saturday. Naquin went deep off of Cleveland reliever Nick Wittgren in the ninth inning with a 421-foot bomb. The veteran is now hitting .271 with seven homers, 12 runs, 20 RBI, and two steals over 85 at-bats. He got off to a red-hot start in 2021, but that was just his first home run since April 18. Nick Senzel is now expected to get some starts in the infield with Joey Votto out for at least a month with a fractured thumb, so Naquin should see semi-regular playing time going forward.--Matt T - RotoBaller
