2 years agoThe St. Louis Cardinals activated outfielder Tyler O'Neill (shoulder) from the 10-day injured list on Tuesday and optioned right-hander Jake Walsh to Triple-A Memphis in a corresponding move. O'Neill will return to St. Louis after going 5-for-13 with a home run on his three-game minor league rehab assignment. The 26-year-old outfielder is hitting just .195/.256/.297 on the season with two home runs, 20 RBI, 14 runs scored and three stolen bases in 32 games, but his power/speed upside makes him worth rostering in most mixed leagues. O'Neill will return to a starting role in St. Louis' outfield, and Dylan Carlson (hamstring) should join him soon.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
