Tyler O'Neill Could Return To The Lineup Soon
3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Tyler O'Neill (hand) will take some swings before the game against Colorado on Sunday to see if he might be available, according to Zachary Silver of MLB.com. O'Neill was available to pinch run if Matt Carpenter had reached base in the ninth inning on Saturday night, but he was not going to play defense or hit. O'Neill left Friday's game after being hit on the right hand by a pitch. He has been off to a strong year at the plate, slashing .276/.329/.558 with 15 homers, six steals, 36 RBI and 36 runs scored over 63 games. Fantasy managers should still consider him day-to-day for now. Outfielder Harrison Bader, who is batting sixth against the Rockies, but he is only a factor in the deepest formats with his .212 average this year.
