2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol doubts that outfielders Tyler O'Neill (shoulder) and Dylan Carlson (hamstring) will be ready to come off the injured list in time to join the team for their series against the Tampa Bay Rays from next Tuesday through Thursday. Both players served as the designated hitter on Friday during their minor league rehab games, and they will progress to playing the outfield this weekend. O'Neill went 3-for-5 with a double, while Carlson went 0-for-3 with a strikeout on Friday. Both O'Neill and Carlson have struggled at the plate for the Cardinals this year before their injuries, but they should both return to starting roles when they are healthy and should remain stashed in the vast majority of fantasy leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
