2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Tyler O'Neill (hamstring) started in left field and went 2-for-3 with a strikeout in his first minor league rehab game with Triple-A Memphis on Monday. O'Neill has been on the injured list since late June with a left hamstring strain, but barring a setback in the minors, he could rejoin the Red Birds' starting lineup later this week when they begin a three-game weekend series against the Philadelphia Phillies on Friday. The 27-year-old will return to a regular role in St. Louis' outfield when he's ready and will come back to a .241/.292/.361 slash line with four home runs, 28 RBI, 22 runs scored and six stolen bases in 185 plate appearances over 45 games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
