3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Tyler O'Neill (back) is expected to return to the lineup on Friday, according to Zachary Silver of MLB.com. Thursday marks the third straight game that O'Neill has missed while dealing with mid-back tightness, but Silver reports that he is now on track to return to action soon. This issue cropped up right in the midst of a hot streak for O'Neill, who is slashing .317/.421/.540 with four homers, one steal, eight RBI and 13 runs scored over 19 games in August.
