3 years agoSan Francisco Giants relief pitcher Tyler Rogers notched his 17th hold of the season in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Nationals. Like he has most of the season, Rogers pitched a 1-2-3 eighth inning with a strikeout to preserve the Giants' two-run lead. Rogers has been one of the team's best relievers this season, compiling a 1.47 ERA and 1.02 WHIP with 10 saves. It does appear that teammate Jake McGee has taken over as closer once again, but Rogers should still see the occasional save opportunity and holds fantasy value in saves/holds leagues.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
