3 years agoSan Francisco Giants relief pitcher Tyler Rogers picked up his ninth save of the season in Tuesday's 9-8 win over the Diamondbacks. Rogers enter to pitch the ninth inning up by a run and pitched a 1-2-3 inning with a strikeout. At this point, the Giants' closer situation appears to be a true split between Rogers and Jake McGee, who has 13 saves of his own. Rogers has a stellar 1.56 ERA, but only has a 13% strikeout rate. It looks like both Rogers and McGee should be able to hold fantasy value this season, with Rogers getting the edge in ERA and McGee getting the edge in strikeouts.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
