3 years agoSan Francisco Giants relief pitcher Tyler Rogers improved to 6-1 in Wednesday's 7-4 win over the Rockies. The side-armer came in to pitch the eighth inning down by a run and logged a scoreless inning with no walks, no strikeouts, and a double allowed. The Giants then scored four runs in the top half of the ninth and Jake McGee closed out the game, making Rogers the pitcher of record. He has been a huge asset for the Giants all season, posting a 1.72 ERA with 25 holds and 12 saves. He has been a useful fantasy asset at times in most formats, particularly in saves/holds leagues.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
