6 years agoLos Angeles Angels left-hander Tyler Skaggs (groin) is headed to the disabled list with a right adductor strain. He was scheduled to pitch on Thursday, but right-hander Jaime Barria will take his place. Deck McGuire was recalled to take his spot on the active roster and could find himself making another spot start for LA. There's no word on how long Skaggs is expected to be out. The left-hander has a 2.64 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP on the year and has been a pleasant surprise in fantasy this season. Keep him stashed until he returns.--patton
