6 years agoHouston Astros designated hitter Tyler White went 2-for-4 on Sunday with two doubles and two runs batted in against the Red Sox. White has really emerged in the second half to claim an everyday spot in the Astros lineup. After popping eight home runs and posting a slugging percentage of .711 in August, White has four doubles and seven runs batted in through eight September games. He has cut into the playing time of veterans like Evan Gattis and Josh Reddick moving forward. White for the season is slashing .301/.381/.609 with three triples, nine doubles, 11 home runs and 34 runs batted in through 156 at-bats.--Joey C - RotoBaller
