6 years agoHouston Astros first baseman Tyler White went 1-for-3 with a run scored in the Astros 4-1 win over the Twins. White has been a revelation in the second half of season, slashing .325/.385/.711 in August and now has hits in 20 of his last 25 games played. White is now hitting .307 this season thanks to slashing .333/.386/.686 with six doubles, nine home runs and 26 runs batted in through 29 games. White fits in at first base and designated hitter in the potent Astros offense and now is playing everyday. He is certainly worth a look off the waiver wire as a fantastic late-season addition.--Joey C - RotoBaller
