3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Tylor Megill recorded the win during Friday's victory over the Phillies. The righty was on the bump for five innings (88 pitches), compiling five strikeouts while walking three batters. However, the biggest storyline of the night resulted from Megill, along with relievers Drew Smith, Joely Rodriguez, Seth Lugo, and Edwin Diaz, collectively throwing a no-hitter, the 17th combined feat in MLB history. Nonetheless, New York kept it rolling by easily taking care of Philadelphia to remain one of the most potent teams in baseball. Megill also picked up his fourth win, already tying his mark from last season, and is now sitting on a 1.93 ERA to go along with 27 strikeouts. The 26-year-old continues to exceed expectations, so fantasy managers should keep him going when he's back on the hill again.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
