Tylor Megill Will Return Friday Or Saturday Vs. Angels
3 years agoAccording to New York Mets manager Buck Showalter, pitcher Tylor Megill (biceps) could start Friday or Saturday against the Los Angeles Angels. He is expected to be reinstated from the injured list to pitch one of the two games. The 26-year-old returned to the Mets clubhouse and said his arm felt great. He threw 3 2/3 innings during a rehab start with Double-A Binghamton. The Mets right-hander has been sidelined since May 11 with biceps tendinitis. Megill owns a 4.41 ERA, 1.13 ERA, and a 37:9 K: BB across 34 2/3 innings in 2022. Fantasy managers might want to see how Megill pitches in his first start back before using him in their lineups once activated.
