3 years agoFree-agent defensive back Tyrann Mathieu is heading to visit with the New Orleans Saints, according to a source. Nothing is imminent, but Mathieu is one of the top available players and will be taking his first visit in free agency. The 29-year-old played his college ball at LSU and would join an already strong Saints secondary if he were to sign with them. The Honey Badger made two Pro Bowls and two first-team All-Pro squads in his three seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs. He finished with 76 tackles (60 solo), three interceptions (one for a touchdown), six passes defensed , three fumble recoveries and a sack in 16 starts last season.
