Tyrell Adams Re-Signs With Jaguars
3 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars re-signed linebacker Tyrell Adams to an undisclosed one-year deal on Wednesday, according to a league source. The Jaguars picked Adams up off the San Francisco 49ers practice squad in December of last year, and he played in only two games for the Jags. The 29-year-old finished 2021 with only four solo tackles and a forced fumble in seven total games between San Fran and Jacksonville. His best year came in 2020 with the Houston Texans, when he tallied 125 tackles (76 solo), five tackles for loss, three QB hits, four passes defensed, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and two sacks in 16 games (12 starts). Adams figures to play more on special teams in 2022.
