Tyrion Davis-Price Leads 49ers With 36 Rushing Yards
2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers rookie running back Tyrion Davis-Price led the team in rushing with 36 yards on 10 carries in Friday's preseason win over the Green Bay Packers. He was not targeted in the passing game. The 49ers starting running back Elijah Mitchell (hamstring) was ruled out, while Mitchell's backup Jeff Wilson also did not suit up on Friday. While Davis-Price is listed as third on the depth chart, Trey Sermon started the game. The 21-year-old's efficiency numbers (3.6 yards per carry) in his first preseason game were not impressive. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on him if Mitchell's injury lingers.
