2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers rookie third-round running back Tyrion Davis-Price is second on the RB depth chart behind Elijah Mitchell and ahead of Trey Sermon heading into training camp. Davis-Price is big, fast and elusive, which could make him an excellent one-two punch with Mitchell. The 21-year-old seems destined to at least be a short-yardage and goal-line option for San Fran this year, which could hurt Mitchell's fantasy ceiling in his second season. Sermon had a tough rookie year in 2021, finishing with 41 carries for 167 yards and one touchdown. He remains in the mix, but it will be an uphill climb for him to find work in the backfield, barring injuries.
