Tyrod Taylor Quiet In Second Preseason Game
6 years agoCleveland Browns quarterback Tyrod Taylor was solid, if unspectacular, in his team's second preseason game against the Buffalo Bills on Friday. Taylor played into the second quarter and helped lead his team on one touchdown-scoring drive. He completed 4-of-7 passes for 22 yards while adding one rush for five yards in the game. Taylor didn't have a chance to do more damage in the game as the Browns opted for a run-heavy approach against the Bills' first-team defense, handing off to running backs a combined 13 times while he was on the field. Taylor remains the team's unquestioned starter as he heads into the team's third preseason game which will come against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday. Look for Taylor and the starters to play into the third quarter in that contest.
