Tyrod Taylor Will Not Suit Up For Preseason Finale
6 years agoCleveland Browns quarterback Tyrod Taylor (finger) will not play in the preseason finale Thursday against the Detroit Lions, as head coach Hue Jackson has confirmed that he will rest his starters to get ready for Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Taylor left the all-important third preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles this past Thursday due to a dislocated pinkie finger on his left non-throwing hand and he also suffered a bruised wrist. He'll have a full two weeks to recover before squaring off with the division rival Steelers on Sept. 9. Taylor is considered a low-end QB2, only worth starting in leagues using two signal callers. He'll also be a popular bye-week choice when your primary starter is forced to sit.
