Tyrone Taylor Lands On Injured List Saturday

3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Tyrone Taylor (oblique) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Saturday with a right oblique strain, according to Adam McCalvy of MLB.com. Taylor had exited Friday's game due to oblique discomfort after going 0-for-2 with a strikeout prior to being replaced on defense. He's been a decent play in deeper formats this season, slashing .245/.324/.453 with 10 homers, five steals, 37 RBI and 30 runs scored over 82 games. To replace him on the active roster, the Brewers recalled relief pitcher Eric Yardley. It's hard to tell just how long Taylor may be out with this injury, and for now managers should go ahead and stash him on their IL.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
