Tyrone Taylor Nearing A Return
2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Tyrone Taylor (concussion) suffered a concussion on June 30 when he was hit in the face by the baseball while trying to make a catch in the outfield. Taylor said he's been feeling better, and he was cleared for on-field work on July 8. He was eligible to come off the seven-day concussion injured list on July 9, but he's still working toward game action. Barring a setback, Taylor is expected to return for the team's July 14-17 series later this week against the San Francisco Giants on the road. The 28-year-old was hitting just .228/.277/.423 before his injury, but he does have nine home runs, 32 RBI, 23 runs scored and a stolen base in 62 games for the Brewers so far this season.
