6 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Tyson Ross was ripped for seven earned runs in five innings Sunday against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Ross had nothing in this one, serving up seven hits including three home runs. He also walked three and recorded zero strikeouts. The outing was Ross' worst this season and the first that he's allowed more than three earned runs since May 7. The poor day inflates his season numbers to a 3.78 ERA and 1.23 WHIP. Ross has enjoyed a nice bounce back campaign in 2018 and holds a solid 8.1 K/9. Fantasy owners should continue depending on him for better starts than Sunday. He'll face the Diamondbacks in Arizona on Friday.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
