4 years agoBuffalo Sabres goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen is set for his NHL debut in Friday's matchup against Boston. He will be the fifth Sabres rookie to get his first test of action in the league. Buffalo picked up Luukkonen from the 2017 draft. The 22-year-old has a 7-5-3 record in the AHL this season, and he also spent some time playing in Finland. Luukkonen certainly isn't eased into action, with the Bruins boasting plenty of firepower and heading into the contests with a six-game winning streak.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
