Unclear What Is Causing Jacob deGrom's Shoulder Issue
3 years agoTwo doctors examined the MRI results of New York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom (shoulder) on Thursday and had the same prognosis from the imaging. Specifically, that deGrom's shoulder is fine and that there is no concern. As a result, the Mets don't know what is causing deGrom's discomfort, according to manager Luis Rojas. Despite the inconclusive nature of the issue, the Mets are still confident in letting deGrom continue to throw. While this may not be an advisable course of action, it appears, at least right now, that deGrom may not miss any time or a minimal amount of time due to this issue. Fantasy managers who have deGrom rostered should continue to monitor this story as it continues to unfold.
