4 years agoColorado Avalanche winger Valeri Nichushkin (upper body) is ready to return from a one-game absence in Saturday's home game against St. Louis. He was out as the Avalanche beat the Blues on Friday 3-2. Nichushkin has been a solid deep league asset this season with 17 points, 64 shots and 39 hits through 35 games. He did particularly well last month, finishing March with 13 points and a plus-12 rating in 17 appearances. Nichushkin skates on the third line with Tyson Jost and a red-hot Joonas Donskoi, whose recent exploits include back-to-back multi-point outings and a hat trick in a four-point performance.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
