3 years agoColorado Avalanche winger Valeri Nichushkin (upper body) will return to action on Saturday against Calgary after missing two games. He'll slot back into the second line, bumping Alex Newhook to the third line. Nichushkin hasn't made much noise in recent weeks, but he plays on a team that averages close to four goals per game (3.93) and it's helped the Russian winger to have a solid season with 14 goals and 29 points in 37 games. He's also seeing some power-play time and the Avalanche have been effective with the man advantage throughout the season, scoring 22.6 percent of their chances.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
