Van Jefferson Likely To Miss Multiple Games

2 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Van Jefferson (knee) is likely to miss more than one game to kick off the 2022 regular season, according to a league source. Jefferson has already been ruled out for the Thursday night season opener against the Buffalo Bills, and it's looking like he won't play in Week 2 against the Atlanta Falcons on Sept. 18. The 26-year-old had a minor knee procedure last month and will be eased back into action. For however long Jefferson is out, Ben Skowronek should operate as the No. 3 receiver behind Cooper Kupp and Allen Robinson II, but he's not very attractive for fantasy purposes. Tight end Tyler Higbee should also see an uptick in targets for however long Jefferson remains sidelined.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
