2 years agoLos Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said that wide receiver Van Jefferson (knee) will miss "a few weeks" since he needs to undergo knee surgery. Apparently, Jefferson was advised to have surgery after meeting with a specialist on Monday regarding a lingering knee issue. He already had a minor procedure on the same knee earlier this offseason, so this isn't a great sign. With Jefferson missing training camp time over the next few weeks, it'll give Ben Skowronek and Tutu Atwell a chance to stand out in the receiver corps behind Cooper Kupp and Allen Robinson II. Jefferson finished his second NFL season with 50 catches on 89 targets for 802 yards and six touchdowns in 17 regular season games, and he'll be worth a late-round flier in deeper leagues for WR depth if he's ready to go for the start of the regular season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
