Vance McDonald Looks To Build Upon Week 3 Breakout
6 years agoPittsburgh Steelers tight end Vance McDonald broke out in a big way in Week 3, picking up 112 receiving yards and a touchdown on Monday night. The veteran tight end will look to build upon that success in Week 4 when the Baltimore Ravens come to town. McDonald has moved ahead of Jesse James as the Steelers' preferred pass-catching tight end and could return low-end TE1 numbers if he continues to see work in the passing game. The Ravens have been stingy against enemy tight ends this season, allowing the seventh-fewest fantasy points per game to the position, but they will not be able to focus on Pittsburgh's tight end with Antonio Brown and Juju Smith-Schuster on the field. McDonald is a solid waiver add in all leagues and is fine to deploy as a high-end streamer this weekend.
