With only two of her victories coming by finish, Melo is a grinder that typically pushes her opponent to a decision. In her last bout against Tracy Cortez, Melo threw 80% of her strikes at the head, which shows a higher chance of landing a potential knockout blow. Melo will share a similar height with her fellow Brazilian competitor, Karol Rosa. Melo will also own a one-inch leg-reach advantage.
