2 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Velus Jones Jr. has received plenty of praise this offseason as he enters his first year in the league. However, when age is considered, the 25-year-old is old for a rookie, which has caused some to discredit his abilities. Yet, Jones isn't phased by the chatter. "People talk about it," he said during a podcast interview while adding his age is "not going to stop me from running past people to score touchdowns." Nevertheless, the wideout certainly has a chance of moving up on the depth chart and potentially earning more looks from quarterback Justin Fields this season.
