5 years agoWashington Redskins tight end Vernon Davis will be in line for the bulk of the tight end work on Sunday if Jordan Reed isn't able to play. If such is the case, Davis has the chance to pick up where Evan Engram left off in Week 1, when the latter torched the Cowboys Defense for 116 yards and a touchdown on 11 catches. The important thing to note here is that Engram was targeted 14 times, the second-most of any player in the NFL in Week 1. It would be surprising to see Davis get that kind of volume even if he starts again in Week 2. Davis is more of a DFS long shot than he is a candidate for season-long lineups.--Chris O'Reilly
