4 years agoThe Las Vegas Raiders have officially signed Vic Beasley from the practice squad for Thursday's game against the Chargers after seeing him play in 39 percent of the team's defensive snaps Sunday against Indianapolis. Additionally, Takk McKinley (groin) has been designated to return from injured reserve, meaning that he could be on the field as soon as Thursday, although he may need more time to ramp up before playing in his first game with the organization. Both players have proven to be ferocious pass rushers during their time with the Falcons, an infusion of energy that a stumbling Raiders defense could use. Irrespective of how many snaps that either man gets, Las Vegas isn't a trusty defensive option on a short week with a new defensive coordinator against a talented Chargers offense and can be avoided during season-long league playoffs.--Jesse Borek
