6 years agoThe Minnesota Vikings defense showed the San Francisco 49ers why they were the best unit in the league a season ago. The Vikings picked off 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo three times in a 24-16 win. Xavier Rhodes and Harrison Smith both had an interception, while rookie Mike Hughes chipped in with a pick-six. Furthermore, defensive tackle Linval Joseph forced a fumble in the second quarter, which was recovered by the aforementioned Smith. The Vikings also combined for three sacks on the day, with Harrison Smith and Danielle Hunter each registering one. The Vikings project to be one of the best fantasy defenses in the entire league this season and should be started with confidence every week.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
