Vikings "Hopeful" Dalvin Cook Will Be Cleared For Week 17
3 years agoMinnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer said he's "hopeful" running back Dalvin Cook (illness) will clear COVID-19 protocols ahead of Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers. Cook was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on December 23 after testing positive for the virus. The Vikings star running back will be activated on Saturday if he can clear protocols. The 26-year-old has rushed for 1,067 yards, six touchdowns while catching 30 passes for 221 yards over 11 games in 2021. Alexander Mattison will lead the Vikings backfield again if Cook isn't cleared ahead of time. Stay tuned for further updates.
