Vikings Waive Kellen Mond
2 years agoThe Minnesota Vikings waived quarterback Kellen Mond on Tuesday, according to a source. Mond was a third-round selection out of Texas A&M last year, but he struggled in the preseason and the Vikings recently traded for veteran Nick Mullens, leaving Mond as the odd-man out in the quarterback room in Minnesota. Behind starter Kirk Cousins, the Vikings also have Sean Mannion. Mond had plenty of people on his side during the pre-draft process, so he'll surely receive interest on the open market and land with another organization as QB depth. However, his fantasy stock in dynasty/keeper leagues has already taken a big hit.
