2 years agoKansas City Royals first baseman Vinnie Pasquantino continues to tear the cover off the ball for Triple-A Omaha. The first baseman went 1-for-3 on Tuesday and went yard for the third consecutive game. The 24-year-old has been absolutely mashing down on the farm and with Royals first baseman Carlos Santana in a season-long slump, many have to wonder if the Royals will hand the keys to Pasquantino in the near future. For the season, Pasquantino is hitting a healthy .304 with 15 home runs, 52 RBI and a 1.074 OPS. Although there are no signs of an imminent promotion, managers in redraft leagues should consider stashing the first baseman and he should already be rostered in dynasty leagues.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
