Vinnie Pasquantino Injured Monday
2 years agoKansas City Royals rookie first baseman Vinnie Pasquantino (shoulder) left the game early on Monday against the Chicago White Sox with right shoulder discomfort. Pasquantino looked to be in serious pain after a swing and was replaced by infielder Nick Pratto. For now, fantasy managers must consider Pasquantino as day-to-day but be prepared for the worst. The 24-year-old left-handed slugger has held his own in his first taste of major league pitching this year, slashing .264/.348/.437 with eight home runs, 15 RBI and 17 runs scored in his first 198 big-league plate appearances over 48 games played for the Royals. Check back for updates on the severity of his shoulder injury.
