3 years agoSeattle Mariners relief pitcher Vinny Nittoli will be called up ahead of Friday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays. The 30-year-old reliever will reach the big league level for the first time in his career. Throughout his career, Nittoli has pitched for a handful of different organizations and some independent ball as well. Nittoli has posted a 3.50 ERA and 26/5 K/BB ratio over 18 innings for Triple-A Tacoma this season. He'll likely pitch in low leverage situations, but a neat story regardless.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
