4 years agoVirna Jandiroba was unable to get her striking game going as she met fellow jiu-jitsu black belt Mackenzie Dern on Saturday night. Jandiroba was outstruck in the 15-minute bout, only landing 63 significant strikes (80 total strikes), but she stopped all five of Dern's attempted takedowns. Jandiroba started to build momentum at the very end of the first round, which allowed her to take the second round. Jandiroba is a very dangerous ground fighter, and as long as she is matched up with someone she can dominate on the ground, she will have some fantasy relevance.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
