3 years agoWashington Capitals goaltender Vitek Vanecek stopped 28 of 31 shots in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday night. Vanecek had won consecutive games including a clutch win against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday night. The goaltender just could not figure out Trevor Zegras who scored twice on him. Overall, it was an eventful night as Vanecek is now 4-2-4 in ten decisions for the Washington Capitals. He expects to see one more start on this California road trip. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
