4 years agoWashington Capitals goaltender Vitek Vanecek will be the team's starter for Tuesday's matchup against the Islanders. He'll head to his 26th start of the season with a very solid 15-6-3 record, a 2.71 goals-against average, a .907 save percentage and one shutout. Vanecek has beaten the Islanders twice this season, but Tuesday's matchup is a tough one for him, as the Isles are carrying a superb 15-1-2 home record.
