The Czech netminder was chased by Calgary with three first-period goals in a 4-3 overtime loss on Oct. 23. However, Vanecek's overall numbers have stayed strong, with the 25-year-old sitting on a 2-0-1 record and allowing only 2.05 goals per game with a .920 save percentage.
