4 years agoViviane Araujo (10-2) walked into Wednesday's matchup with veteran Roxanne Modafferi as a huge favorite and made good on that. Araujo took the dominant unanimous decision (26-30, 27-30, 27-30), dominating the fight wherever the battle went. Statistically, Araujo dominated as well, landing 86 significant strikes (100 total strikes) along with landing all four of her takedown attempts. She prevented all five of Modafferi's takedown attempts as well. If she can continue to dominate and put on showcases like this, we may be seeing a true flyweight title contender down the road.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
