Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Continues To Pound The Ball

4 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman/designated hitter Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has mashed the ball during the 2020 year, with his 48.9% hard-hit rate and 92-mph average exit velocity ranking near the top of the league. Despite his metrics trending in the right direction, he has compiled a .733 OPS through his first 46 games. While he hasn’t capitalized on the preseason projection that was bestowed upon him, Guerrero still retains upside value over the final two weeks due to his propensity for hammering the ball. With 10 of his final 14 games coming at the hitter’s havens of Yankee Stadium and Sahlen Field, Guerrero will have considerable DFS appeal due to his run-of-the-mill rostering price tag.--Jesse Borek
