3 years agoToronto Blue Jays' first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (foot) is expected to be available for Friday's game against the Houston Astros. He fouled a ball off his foot on Wednesday, but the injury shouldn't keep him out for long. Guerrero was available to pinch-hit in Thursday's game but didn't make an appearance. The 23-year-old underwent X-rays on his injured foot Wednesday, which returned negative. Vlad Jr. is set to return Friday after a one-game absence. Guerrero is slashing .309/.380/.559 with five home runs, 13 RBI, and 11 runs scored over 19 games in 2022.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
