4 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit a pair of doubles in Wednesday's 9-1 victory over the Red Sox Wednesday to extend his hitting streak to nine games. He collected three RBI and a pair of runs in the rout, upping his batting average to .255 on the season. Despite the week-plus hitting streak, Guerrero had just one homer and one double during this timeframe heading into this contest. It's encouraging to see him reach base, but with four homers, 13 RBI, and 12 runs on the campaign, owners aren't getting a terrific return on their investment.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
