3 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. displayed his athleticism on Sunday by slugging a homer and stealing a base during Sunday's 9-8 win over the Red Sox. It was just his third theft of the season, but his two run shot in the fifth off Garrett Richards was his 35th of the campaign as he finished the afternoon going 2-for-4 with a walk. Guerrero's bat has cooled off with a .234 BA over his previous 20 games entering this one, but he still sits first in the majors with 87 RBI and 86 runs scored. The 22-year-old's bat should pick up some steam in the final two months as he looks to close the gap in the AL MVP race.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
